Our curriculum is aligned with Pennsylvania Department of Education Common Core standards and taught by state-certified, highly qualified teachers. Our curriculum is designed to accommodate multiple levels of learning, styles of learning and abilities. There are 600 courses available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so students can work at their own pace. They receive feedback and assessments from teachers as they proceed. This provides a personal educational experience that makes PVA a 21st century education.
PVA offers courses at four levels:
- Anchors/Foundation Level: foundational version of traditional courses designed for easier reading and comprehension.
- College Preparatory Level: traditional courses designated to middle and high school grade levels.
- Honors Level: weighted courses that provide a distinction on official transcripts
- Advanced Placement (AP) Level: courses are weighted and offer a chance to earn college credit by testing well on the AP exam.
